That this approach works has already been proven. His debut singles “Terwijl Je Voor Me Stond” and “Nou En” hit the bullseye immediately: landing in heavy rotation on Radio 1 and camping out in the Vox list for weeks. Meanwhile, in his home country of the Netherlands, Frans Kalf has also become a regular fixture on 3voor12 and NPO Radio 1's 'De Taalstaat'.

During the summer of 2026, he translated that success to the stage with standout performances at leading festivals such as Boomtown, Down The Rabbit Hole, Festival Dranouter, and Into The Great Wide Open—filling fields and getting entire crowds to sing along.
